Network of Care for Kids

Based on the success of Network of Care for Seniors and People with Disabilities, Trilogy was asked to develop a similar community-based Web site for the needs of children at risk. The inaugural Web site was developed for First 5 Contra Costa (Calif.). The site is as deep and broad as Network of Care for Seniors and People with Disabilities, but focuses on the Prop. 10 commission's target population of children prenatal to age 5.

This family-oriented site includes a comprehensive Service Directory, as well as critical information on health insurance, child care, school readiness and parenting. The site also includes the exclusive, online version of the Parents Guide, an easy-to-use handbook that provides resources to help answer questions parents and caregivers have every day. Special features such as daily news, private family folders and creative ways of connecting the multiple agencies that touch the lives of a single child make this site an extremely creative and useful tool for families and agencies.

The site was launched in May 2003.
